CHAC Presents Lis Gladstone & Ryder Holmes Wilson
The Coast Highway Art Collective is delighted to showcase the work of painter Lis Gladstone and designer Ryder Holmes Wilson in the month of May.
Lis Gladstone, an artist with deep roots in Scotland, brings a vibrant collection of paintings to this exhibit. With a creative background spanning textiles, photography, and mixed media, her current focus on painting draws from natural materials and themes. Her work reflects a lifelong exploration of texture, form, and imagination, shaped by years of study and mentorship from respected artists across Scotland, California, and Oregon. Now based at The Sea Ranch, Lis’s paintings are rich in atmosphere and emotional resonance.
Ryder Holmes Wilson, based in Santa Rosa, creates striking furniture and sculptural art through Holmes Wilson Furniture, a family-run studio. Drawing on nearly three decades of experience with GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete), Ryder transforms concrete into refined, one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by nature, music, and history. His work includes everything from tables to panels, each one made by hand and designed to be both functional and deeply artistic.
The Coast Highway Artists work across a diverse range of art genres, with membership and artistic focus evolving over time.
This dynamic collective thrives on the ever-changing art landscape, reflecting the varied interests and creativity of its artists.
